A three speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and a "swing away" steering column were also standard. A 390 cubic inch V8 with a four barrel carburetor and dual exhaust was the standard and only engine available for the '64 Thunderbird. The tonneau cover is easily removed to accommodate rear seating. Although Ford no longer offered the sports roadster model, a sports tonneau cover was available after market as were the Kelsey-Hayes style wire wheels, this car has both.
The body is clean and arrow straight with excellent Rangoon Red paint which is this cars original color. This exceptionally clean 1964 Thunderbird is loaded with options.
